I just found out that Joe Bouadana had died. He was a very good friend, very gregarious and truly, one of a kind. He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll be missed. Now as far as Ziggy\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s concerned.... |

I found this site by accident.... I never had the pleasure of working for TWA but gre up as a youth almost exclusively flying them from JFK. I grew up under the constant rumble of TWay metal landing on the 31\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s at JFK at my home in Long Beach... Sadly... I was on a boat when TWA800 went down. It always stuck with me... Now adays I am a First Officer for a Corperate charters company... I wanted to thank everyone who worked for TWA though for their class, charecter and inspiration... It is you guys who inspired me to become a pilot and while the full dream can never bear frutition to some extent happiness has been realized... Enjoy your new/current endeavors... Thanks for the inspiration and thanks for your service.

Hello, all.
Just found this site. I worked CHI Res from 8/67 to 6/73 and learned that I love to fly. Got my private pilot\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s license a few years later and moved to Cupertino, CA in 10/78 and Southern California 06/04.
Fly mostly AA since TW\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s demise/acquistion and wonder how many CHI Res agents are still around.
God bless you all. |

Hello! I am Dan Delaney and grew up in Queens, N fifties and early sixties. Used to take the Bus from Jackson Heights (Q 33 Bus) to LaGuardia and go to the Observation Deck and look at the TWA planes. TWA, Eastern and Pan Am could teach a thing or two, to todays Airlines about Customer service. In the late 80\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and early 90\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s, I would fly on an L-1011(TWA) out of JFK, to Seattle to visit my sister. On one of these trips, I met my wife, Katherine. Though I never worked for TWA, I wear a TWA Lapel pin on a jacket, sometimes. When asked why, I simply reply" Keeping the memory alive!!" Fly safe! Dan

TWA was my family - my hire on date was 7/7/1977 - Couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t have been any luckier than that - without a doubt the biggest mistake of my life was leaving to pursue another career - love you all - my media room now is all TWA memorabilia - loved you all!
