I\\\\\\\\\\\\'m trying to see if anyone knows or heard from Jim Shockley, retired from TWA/AA some years back?
I know he retired to CA, and used to exchange emails and jokes, but haven\\\\\\\\\\\\'t heard from him in some time now.
I worked in the fuel department with Jim, along with Rick Zeuthen in STL.
Appreciate any info anyone can provide.

About Stan Matoska, a very good friend indeed, sad to hear of his passing, will miss him. Look forward to the future date of his memorial. Just rcvd an email from Steve Kolish, fwwdd by Mike lopez of the passing of Jeff Bowlds (on Jul 12th), no further info other than he had surgery and never got that chance to stay with us all. Steve\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s son, after a long fight with many serious transplant surgeries (4), he never had that chance at being with his family again passed. This was a fight that started back last Nov. Our condolences to Steve and Myrna who stayed in IND while this ordeal continued on. We give hope to our TWA family, they deserve GOD\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s love, may the GOOD LORD Bless them all. |

Former ORD (Chicago) TWA employee Stan Matoska sadly passed away on July 16th 2010, after a long illness. He was 78 years old. My father worked in both the gate/ramp operations and TWA cargo from the early 60\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s thru 1986. TWA, was my Father\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s life during those years. Have fond memories of our family being upgraded to first class on vacations on new 747\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and L-1011\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s. As kids we enjoyed the yearly ORD/TWA picnic at "Santa\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Village" in the 70\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s. At his request, A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be determined. |
