Sad News, long time TWA-JFK Maintenance Supervisor Joe Albano passed away May 5th . Our ranks keep getting smaller, but our memories of Friends and co-worker remain strong. |

These decisions look great when pareid with the ones the NCAA has done with Auburn and Ohio State's football heros. When you make exceptions for some and put the hammer down on others it really challenges an organization's legitimacy. Kantor would have made Kentucky a legitimate NCAA title contender. The presence of Guy Marc Michel would have had a considerable impact on Indiana's season as well. These rulings do make the NCAA look like they have an agenda of favoritism that constantly helps some schools and punishes others. It certainly isn't for the athletes benefit. If that were the case they athletic events wouldn't be scattered throughout the week the way they are, they would be scheduled closer to weekends. |

I was recently at an event in England and was asked if I knew or could locate information about Captain Fred Schotz and his wife Donna. Any help would be appreciated. I am a retired flight attendant, and a member of the senior club. Thank you for any help you can offer |

My dad, Dick Collmer, worked for TWA at CMH in the early 40's followed by 3 years in the army, then went back to TWA upon his military discharge. He worked as a reservations and station agent both at Port Columbus and the downtown reservation office until after I was born in 1951.
I had aspirations to become a pilot for TWA (which I considered my hometown airline) after my mom took me on my first airplane ride in a TWA Super G Connie from CMH to DAY and back during the summer of 1961. Although I never realized my dream to fly for TWA, I continue to enjoy a 30+ year as a professional aviator. |

My dad (Dick Campbell) worked for over 35 years for TWA at LGA and JFK beginning in 1953.I remember his love of travel and commitment to the company that had a unique family feel. He passed away in 2008, and was remembered by his associates at TWA by their presence and a lovely TWA logo floral arrangement at his wake. God bless all those TWA family members!I will never forget. |
