After retiring in 1994, I reflected on my career.... the opening of Breech Academy in Oct/1969 and continuing on to KCI overhaul facility as an A&P Mechanic and then on to MCI Passenger Screening then to LAX Aircraft Maintenance and Supervisor of Hangar/Station and along the way, meeting many wonderful TWA employees. I was fortunate to meet many wonderful people system-wide. Their friendship impacted my life and made me look at the world in a different light! I am fortunate that my Father worked for TWA during the Prop Era where.as a child, I traveled as a non-rev. Now, my oldest son is a Captain for Southwest Airlines. He got the bug while traveling as a child on thru college as a non-rev on TWA and then on to a career in the military as a pilot flight instructor. Thank you TWA for your contribution to the many people of this great airline and their memories of a life well lived! A big thank you to American Airlines for including TWA into your family!
