Our Chapter has the responsibility of serving the TWA Seniors in Northern California as well as Northern Nevada (Reno) and the states of Washington and Oregon.  Although we do not schedule regular monthly business meetings, we do publish a newsletter called the "Tailwinds" every other month that is sent to all paid up members.  The cost to join our chapter is $10.00 to cover the newsletter expenses.  If at anytime you would like to join us at one of our luncheons etc., please e-mail me.  If you're in the San Francisco Area visiting we will see to it that you get transportation, etc., to the event.  You would be most welcome to join in the fun.

        Because of the demise of TWA our local board of directors presented to the club a by-laws change that removed the words Seniors and Retirees from our current by-laws and age restrictions and have opened the chapter up to all former TWA employees.  It was felt that there are just too many persons living in this area who had no place to socialize, etc., with their TWA family since management clubs and employees clubs have been shut down.  Along with these changes comes a change in our name as well.  Effective now, we out here in the northwest will be known as "PACIFIC NORTHWEST TWA AMBASSADORS CHAPTER".   Our present membership effective January 01st 2008 is now 413.
